Don't Quit Poem Movie

Don't Quit Poem Movie:

If I had to guess, I would bet you are facing your fair share of challenges and obstacles in your life... I know I am. When things go wrong, and they sometimes will... how will you choose to respond? That is what this short movie is all about. Be inspired by these words of wisdom if you are thinking of quitting.

  1. I have come a long way from the depths of depression to say: "I am here and I refuse to go away." Many people I have whispered to directly into theirs ears while giving them a hug: "Save me from this dark hole I have fallen in." Only two responded with help for me. Only two and I think that is sad. The fact is that those two were my own daughters and I lived for them. All three together, we are a testament of the will to survive, One for all, all for one.

  2. It is very sad Mary! I have dabbled in depression with a couple bouts that I swore were going to do me in! But I can get in my own way.. I have such an independent "I can do it, I don't need you" mentality that I have only recently in the last few years learned to ask for help, patience and understanding. Some of it was shame too. I have always been know to be the strong one, and when I couldn't maintain or even be keep up the facade any longer I was scared and ashamed that I was weak. I have accepted it for what it is, and those that love me also accept it. I like you at almost 40 can count on one hand those that have helped me when it was a life and death situation. My boys, my dad, a patient mentor and a soul mate. I cherish them, and they are in my thoughts daily! But I am stubborn, and like you, I to am here to stay!! I love you Mary, and I feel we are kindred spirits, so while I may not be there to literally wrap my arms around your or offer my shoulder, know that you are in my heart and I am here if you need me!
