A little about Karma's Wings (the blog)...

I have been a victim of sexual abuse and domestic violence.  I am, however, a survivor!  This blog is dedicated to being an inspirational and empowering resource for victims and survivors alike.  The mental and emotional pain doesn't go away just because the physical pain has ended.  There's a lifetime of healing and recovery involved. Karma's Wings is here to provide friendship, encouragement and support.

I am a simple gal, trying to figure out the meaning of life and relationships. I am a single mom of two awesome teenage boys, who constantly amaze me.  I love to people watch and am equally fascinated and curious as to what makes people do the things they do. I have a deep seeded passion to help the less fortunate, and I often get in my own way. I hope to run my own non-profit one day; Karma's Wings, but in the meantime, I will focus on the smaller things that I CAN do to reach that goal!
